You want children to enjoy art, explore their ideas, and feel proud of what they are learning. But preparing art lessons can bring questions of your own. Are the activities appropriate for your students? What supplies should you invest in? How can you make art a consistent part of your classroom schedule?
You deserve support with these decisions. You do not need to be an experienced artist to begin developing your confidence as an art educator.
I created the Art Teaching Blueprint™ to help teachers, Montessori guides and children’s studio instructors feel more prepared to teach visual arts.
Support for the Educator Behind Every Art Lesson
There is a great deal to think about when you teach children art. Along with choosing activities, you are considering different abilities, classroom space, preparation time, and the resources available to you.
A lesson that looks appealing online may leave you wondering whether it will work in your setting. Having professional guidance gives you somewhere to bring those questions.
The Art Teaching Blueprint™ offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of children’s art education and build confidence in your teaching decisions. My goal is to help you feel prepared, encouraged, and supported as you develop an art program for the children you teach.

Created by Spramani Elaun, Founder of Nature of Art®
I am Spramani Elaun, an artist, author, art curriculum developer, and founder of Nature of Art®. For more than thirty years, my work has centered on children’s visual arts education.
Teaching children and working with educators has given me an appreciation for the everyday questions that arise during art time. Teachers need guidance that connects with their students, their schedules, and their available space.
The Art Teaching Blueprint™ draws on my experience and the Science Art Method™, the original methodology I developed through 30 years of artistic practice, teaching, and curriculum development.

What You Can Gain from the Training
The program is designed to help you develop a stronger foundation in visual arts education. You can build confidence in choosing appropriate resources, preparing for art experiences, and supporting children’s artistic growth.
You will also have opportunities to consider your own teaching goals. Perhaps you want to bring art into your classroom more regularly, strengthen an existing program, or feel more comfortable working with unfamiliar materials.
Whatever your starting point, professional learning can help you approach those goals with greater clarity. I’m your personal guide through the whole program.

Choose the Learning Path That Fits Your Goals
Self-Paced Learning
The self-paced option provides online training videos and a downloadable workbook, allowing you to study around your responsibilities.
This option suits educators who want to expand their knowledge and strengthen their confidence in teaching children visual arts.
Professional Certification and Coaching
The certification option includes professional training, individual guidance, and practicum review.
You will have opportunities to discuss your teaching context and questions with me. Certification is awarded following successful completion of the program requirements and evaluation.
This certification supports your work teaching children. It does not authorize you to train or certify other educators, rebrand the Science Art Method™, or reproduce its training system.

Make Room for Your Own Professional Growth
Teachers spend so much time supporting children’s learning. Your learning deserves attention, too.
You can care deeply about creativity and still need help preparing an art program. You can have years of classroom experience and still want guidance in visual arts. Wherever you are beginning, there is room to grow.
I would love to support you as you build confidence and create meaningful art experiences for your students.
