Kids Painting | Glass Droppers & Mixing Primary Colors
Paint Droppers
Using glass droppers is very exciting for kids.
This turns painting into fun science color lab studying.
I use droppers when I want kids to observe color changes and mixtures closely.
All kids have to do is squeeze paints into other colors and see the colors change.
Kids can use a paintbrush to mix up their drops into different hue values.
Droppers can be used to teach most color theory lessons, which I find is a nice break from using only a paintbrush.
This works great when kids feel color theory ideas are difficult to understand.
Once I show them how to drop colors into other colors, they get more relaxed about learning color theory.
Most of my students get carried away and can spend a good amount of time using these fun paint droppers.
Paint droppers have a mad science feel about them!
These droppers are very thick and I have never had any accidents with them. They are very easy and comfortable for kids to use.
Droppers work best on thick watercolor paper.
