Winter Art Project video | Northern Lights Watercolor

I bet if you’re anything like me with the holidays passed its now back to business in the classroom or on the kitchen table!

I thought I would send you this winter art project to the rescue.

I’m getting wonderful feedback from teachers how much the kids are loving this project.

Watercolor painting the Northern Lights using two techniques, wax resist and wet-on-wet.

This project is really fun.

I would say best for 1st grade and up, but I have done projects similar with kindergarteners.
